MARYSVILLE 6/9/02 (YSN) - The body of Feather River drowning victim Daniel B. Frost, 26, of Marysville was recovered downstream from the spot where he vanished last week, a Yuba County Sheriff's Department spokesman reported Sunday.
Frost lost his footing and was swept away by the current about 5 p.m. Wednesday as he attempted to wade the Shanghai Bend rapids after a day of fishing with a pal.
Yuba County deputies in a search boat found Frost's body about 10:30 a.m. Saturday floating in the Boyd's Pump area south of Marysville, the spokesman reported.
