The electricity will probably be back on in a day or two. Nobody is sure why it went off as the infrastructure was not bombed. Water is a serious problem, and rubbish hasn't been collected for weeks. Disease is expected to spread. Six hundred refuse trucks were stolen by looters who did far more damage to the future than all the munitions dropped on Baghdad in the last month. Full story>>
