In this excellent Guardian article Jonathan Raban reveals the sensibilities and thinking of the muslim community, from the personal and particular to the general and global. It gives a much-needed glimpse into the feelings of a worldwide family. It also warns urgently against the gratuitous triumphalism of the Bush Administration. Raban's informative piece is a must-read, if you astrive to understand today's unfolding events.
