Two to stand trial for 'execution'

YUBA CITY 9/13/02 (YSN) - Two Lincoln men must stand trial for allegedly murdering Sacramento resident Alfredo Del Real, 21, whose body was found in a south Sutter County orchard July 20, a Sutter County judge ordered.
Superior Court Judge Robert Damron Thursday bound over Daniel Murillo, 21, and Juan L. Sanchez Jr., 19, after hearing videotaped statements by a 13-year-old girl who claimed to have witnessed the shooting.
The girl alleged the two defendants lured her and Del Real from Sacramento County on the pretext of looking for a house, but instead took them to an orchard near East Nicolaus where Murillo shot Del Real multiple times, execution-style. Prosecutors theorize the killing was related to a drug money dispute.
The pair later released the girl, and she informed authorities.
Murillo and Sanchez were ordered back to court Sept. 30 for trial setting.
