The New YorkTimes has done a laudable job correcting the record of Jayson Blair, whose fabrications may have harmed more than journalistic reputations. Now, if the Gray Lady would only assign a crew of reporters the task of exposing the lies, frauds and fabrications of their chief news subject, George W. Bush, they night really serve the public interest.
